NEW DNA RESEARCH

Your participation in the newly formed MBT DNA bank is requested to aid in solving genetic issues in the Miniature Bull Terrier.  The DNA bank is responsible for storing the DNA and issuing it to MBTCA approved research studies.  You may read more Dr. Gary Johnson's project and download the forms and instructions here:

SURVEYS

An updated Health Survey was conducted by the Miniature Bull Terrier Club of America from 2002-2004.  Here are the results: Survey

During the summer of 1998, the Miniature Bull Terrier Club of America conducted a health survey. It was a modified version of the AKC Model Health Survey for Parent Clubs. Here are the results in .pdf format. MBTSurv.pdf

SPINNING STUDY

Dr. Alice Moon-Fanelli of Tuft's University is conducting a study of spinning (compulsive tail chasing) in Bull Terriers and Miniature Bull Terriers.  Participation is needed from both affected and non-affected (control group) Miniature Bull Terriers.  For more information, see Spinning Study.
